Software for remembering what matters to you.

We build Mnemos, a self-hosted personal memory system. It gathers the documents, notes, health data, and financial records a person already has, keeps them in storage that person controls, and answers questions about them with citations back to the original source.

Mnemos

Most personal information ends up scattered across files, screenshots, statements, and apps that do not talk to each other. Mnemos indexes that material into a single searchable store and lets you ask questions of it in plain language. Every answer carries citations, so you can check what it was based on rather than taking it on trust.

It runs as a web application and an iOS client, against a server the owner runs themselves.

Grounded answers

Questions are answered from your own indexed material, and each response links back to the documents and records behind it.

Your storage

Source files stay in a vault on your server, alongside the index, conversations, and records. You choose where that server lives.

Health and finance

Apple Health data and financial records can be brought in as structured, user-reported evidence — never as professional advice.

Dashboards

Recurring questions become saved dashboards of charts and tables, built from validated specifications rather than generated code.

Automations

Scheduled and event-triggered routines run in the background and can notify you when something you asked to watch actually changes.

Passkey sign-in

Access is passkey-only, with per-user isolation so several people can share one installation without sharing any data.

How it works

  1. Run the server

Mnemos is self-hosted. The operator runs it on their own machine or hosting, and owns the storage it writes to.

  2. Bring in your material

Documents, notes, exports, health data, and records are ingested and indexed, with their source lineage preserved.

  3. Ask, and check the answer

Ask questions from the web or the iOS app. Answers cite the material they came from, so nothing has to be taken on faith.

Mnemos sends prompt content to a language model provider that the operator configures, so its generative features depend on that provider. Ingestion and search work without one. Mnemos is not a medical, legal, or financial adviser, and health and finance entries are treated as user-reported evidence.
